V Activity 1: At the Pasar has five steps. Follow the numbered
directions below to complete the activity.
Step
1: Read the At
the Pasar (html) passage.
Step
2: Determine the meaning of the italicized words.
Step
3: When you have determined the meaning of the italicized words,
enter a translation in the box next to the word.
NOTE:
Some of the italicized words are repeated in the passage. You only
need to enter a translation once.
Step
4: After entering your translations, click "Submit"
to send your answers to the facilitator.
Step
5: Consider what clues in the passage enabled you to arrive
at a translation of the unknown words.
