a case study for your review. Please be aware that you may not have
all the data included in this sample and that you may have some
data not included.
Key
to Document Numbering: The Roman Numeral designates the section,

IIIHO7 - Part A - Developing
a plan 1. Prepare a list of specific questions and/of information
that would be helpful in working with students in your classroom,
focusing on your case study student. You may refer to
IIIHO6 to get ideas of types of questions/information. Do NOT
just copy this list of questions. Product: List of questions/bits

- Part B - Developing teaching opportunities for everyday routines
1. Select three routines from
IIIHO8 (or you may choose others if appropriate). 2. Prepare
a written description comparing and contrasting how these routines
are carried out in your school and the student's native culture
(Culture Capsule). 3. Develop a plan detailing how you could help
your student learn and understand how each of the three routines
is carried out in your school. Product: Written plan to help student
learn each routine.

prepare a lesson plan for your student. You will have already done
parts of a lesson plan in earlier activities. Modify this plan as
needed for this activity. The lesson plan should take into consideration
all you have learned about the most effective ways to teach LEP
students and other concepts considered throughout the course.
VIIIHO19 and VIIIHO20
are examples that you may consider. A written justification of the
instructional decisions made in preparing the lesson play will be
included. Product: Completed lesson plan and written justification.
